This week on Modern Work Mondays, Nolan and Jeff reflect on an exciting week for SYNQ Technology. From a viral video touring Walmart's Store of the Future to recognition from retail thought leader Brittain Ladd for our work with Canadian Tire, it's been a week full of momentum.
The excitement kicked off with the release of a video featuring SYNQ solutions in action at Walmart’s Store of the Future in Mississauga. Hosted by Chris Walton and Anne Mezzenga from Omni Talk Retail, the video has already garnered over 60,000 views.
The buzz didn’t stop there. This week, SYNQ’s work caught the attention of Brittain Ladd, a respected retail thought leader. In his post, he highlighted our work at the Canadian Tire Hillside store in Victoria B.C., calling it the “most innovative department store in North America.” But what stood out was his deep dive into the math behind our approach.
Brittain’s post highlighted something core to our solutions– the math behind the store experience. Every product has a set margin and labor cost. If process inefficiencies mean that two or three associates are needed just to complete one sale, that margin disappears.
As Nolan puts it, “We’re doing this because the math shows we need to do this.”
Yes, we’re improving the customer experience—but we’re also helping retailers protect their margins and make smarter decisions in real time.
The response from this week’s buzz has been incredible. Retailers and partners from all over are reaching out to see how they can bring our solutions to their stores. And this is just the beginning. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be bringing in some great voices to share their thoughts. We’re excited to welcome our next guest next Monday.
